So telling her to be quiet should now actually do that, and not make her talk more instead. I've since added in safeguards to ensure that once quests are run, they are no longer run again. This is to make it less intrusive when it first fires, and to have it be friendlier for VR users. It didn't make sense for Serana to catch up so quickly with the current Skyrim affairs and Tamrielic history in such a short time (after bringing her home but before Prophet), - Generated lip sync for voice lines that didn't have it. *woot woot! You can now ask Serana to sleep in any bed that is player-owned/unowned, considering there's one nearby.
